Danny Green.  Has anyone else had a problem w/him? - Problem with Former member Danny Green

    Hi
About three years ago I contacted Danny Green in St. Augustine, Florida and he agreed to build a 32nd Parrallel U. Boat for me in exchange for buying him an OTW sub, not the U boat. I bought the 32nd P boat and shipped it to him. I also foolishly sent him the OTW boat that I bought for him so he's already paid. Initially, he promised to finish it in 6 months. Over the years, he would come up with one excuse after another. Each Winter he promised that it would be finished before the following summer. It never happened. Now, he isn't taking or returning my phone calls or emails. Has anyone else had this problem with him? I hear he's not longer a member. Was anyone successful in going after him? I want my 32nd P U. Boat back and the OTW kit I bought for him.
    Thank you!

      Danny owes me a conning

Danny owes me a conning tower for a U-441, or so. I loaned him mine as he had a rush job and was going to replace it within about 6 months. That's been about 3 years ago.

That tower, technically mine, was featured about a year ago in the SC Report in an article on how he did such a nice job for a client.

Any attempts to contact him have been futile and I've written him off as another bad apple. Yes, there are a number of great apples in the barrel.

He also has not done right by another fellow in the local area.

        Hi
        I'm sorry to hear

        Hi
I'm sorry to hear that you got stuck by Danny too Warren. He's definitely a bad apple. I think I will take him to court but not in Florida where he lives but right here in NY where I live. Since he contracted with me over the phone here in NY the NY long arm jurisdiction should work. I'll let you know.
Thank you for the advice and information.

            Hi Lee,
Thank you for the response and advice. I know you don't know me but the people who do are laughing right now. I really don't want to tell you my occupation here on the message boards, but I'll sue here in NY without any trouble.
Danny is still around. In fact, I have his cell number that up until 6 months ago he would occassionally answer it for me. It's still hooked up and his voice mail has his voice on it. I don't want to tip him off. I just want to find out how many people have been stiffed by him.
Thank you all for your kind words and support.

              hi Bob, Danny Green also

hi Bob, Danny Green also owes Albert Johnson a 1/48th XXI conning tower he promised to finish for him.... Well Alberts boat is finished and it has been for some time, minus the conning tower. He was also "Screwed over" by Mr. Green! Jeff Jones
