    foam cutting

What is the best method to cutting foam for installation in the sub. I got a sheet of the insulation foam from Home Depot (bad part is its pink. Darn, really wanted blue), but I want it to look good in the sub.

That's a hot wire, which you can easily knock up yourself for next to nothing (nothing at all, if you're a master scavenger and skinflint like me!)

You need to use nichrome wire (often used in the heating elements of electric fires) and a low voltage DC supply.

Hotwire cutting is the best way to fashion foam, because it doesn't make any mess. However the foam does gas off as it melts so cut in a well ventilated area, and you'll be fine.
