    SR04 Head Count - Who's comin' & whatchya bringin'

    Just curious to know which smiling faces (including Mike!!) are gracing us with their presence.
    I'll start the thread with;
    a) USS Trepang (SSN 674)
    b) (NewCon) USS Silversides (SS 236)
    c) (NewCon) HMCS Ojibwa (SSK)
    I'll be there Friday thru Sunday with my sailor's wit and snappy regatta attire!
    See you on the beach!

      "I want to go, but I doubt I can get my alfa ready by then."

      And your point is...?

      Whether your boat is ready or not is immaterial. What you can gain is immeasurable. Bring it as is. Show it off. Study others. Ask questions. Take pictures. Use your powers of observation. Just shoot the breeze. There's just no way you can learn more about virtually any aspect of this hobby than to be in the same place at the same time with a whole bunch of other "sub geeks" and their boats.

      And don't forget the Bubbleheads Anonymous meeting Friday night at the Comfort Suites motel!

        [color=#000000]Novagator,
        Hey, my Alfa is not finished. Skip is right. You can learn tons in a day or so. And there is comfort in being around fellow "bubble heads" who understand your affliction.
        I am going without a boat. I want to meet all these people who are posts on the board and e-mail buddys. So far, those that I have met in real life are the best of people, and I would have regretted having not met them.
        Besides seeing all the cool subs and neat things,ideas will be exchanged that will make it worth it.
        I am flying in from Austin Texas. Would not miss it for anything. I do wish that David Merrimen could come,but he has prior commitments. Pick yourself up by the bootstraps and come!! Everybody!
        By the way,Skip, where is this meeting at the Comfort Inn? Roughly what time too. I should be coming in around 4]

            I will be there with the usual group of Bubbleheads from Rochester. You never know were we will show up (When you least expect it) Ha Ha. I will have my Disney Nautilus, Akula, My new Mini-Kilo, and god willing my Bushnell Turtle. I should have it done by then, but I will bring it either way. Hope to see you all there. Dave.

              Dave,
              I'll be there with my trusty Alfa, and L.A. with missile launcher and wireless video. Both are fitted with the RCABS.
              Also there will be a new surprise for all agressive sub captains. I hope to take them down a notch or two.
              See you there.

                Hi Art, Sounds like a good time as usual. BTW, Three of my subs now have a modified version of your RCABS system. I am very happy with the way they operate. Like Skip is fond of saying (K.I.S.S). Please bring three more of your pumps for me to the regatta if you can. See you soon, Dave.

                  Glad the RCABS is working

                  Dave,
                  Glad the RCABS is working well for you. I'm not in "business", but I will bring the 6V air pumps to the Regatta for you and others who may want to try this ballast system. The air pump/compressor is the only part that is hard to obtain. Everything else is available from vendors and/or on the internet.
                  Can't wait to try out my sub hunter at the Subregatta.

                    I'll be there with 2 operating boats.
                    USS SKIPJACK (SSY 1/72 scale)
                    USS BARB (1/96 scale Thor Design PERMIT)

                    I may bring my unbuilt 1/96 SSY GATO class and gather ideas to make it work.
