Howdy, folks!
I'm relaying a call to all SubCommittee members and officers from Mr. Mike Mohl at Navsource website -- he's asking for any photos of submarine models to post on new pages they're constructing for their submarine website.
Recently, I've sent Mike about a hundred or so of my photos of real subs, along with several old shots of some of my models and diorama displays.
I'd suggested he should consider including photos of models to help honor the actual ships. Quite boldly and confidently, I'd suggested to him that The SubCommittee would likely provide him with photos of incredible model work to honor the real ships.
I hope I haven't acted out of line, but I believe that, if you'd be so kind as to please post the call in the pages of the REPORT, and maybe also on the website, the membership will respond favorably to Mike Mohl and Navsource's call for submarine model photos.
All photos can be sent directly to:
mmohl@navsource.org
Please include name and info on model, and modeler's name for proper credit posting.
I'm sure he will appreciate any and all photos the membership will provide. Plus, it'll be another way to help get The SubCommittee known on wider horizons.
