Kudos to the SCR - an amazing resource!

As an RC sub newbie I want to offer my praise and thanks to Jeff Porteous and the article contributors who make the SubCommittee Report perhaps the finest hobby specialty periodical in the world. The effort that goes into the publication and the results are outstanding. And of course that reflects the efforts of all the SubCommittee officers who make this long standing group what if is today. I am grateful to all of you.
And to those who are entering or contemplating entering this fascinating hobby of sub models and history, I encourage you to join the SubCommittee, enjoy the incredible wealth of well presented info in the SCR, and make use of the SubCommittee forum. The combined knowledge and willingness to share by all SubCommittee members is an amazing resource!

That Type XXIII in your pictures is mine. The only sub I brought that acted like it was 'sposed to!!

Hi Bill -
Thank you for letting me know about the XXIII! Gosh - when I wrote the article I asked Ray and Dave who the builder was and they weren’t 100% sure - so I do apologize for listing it as “builder unknown”!!!
However, at least the picture shows what a fabulous model it is! I will mention it to Jeff Porteus because he may be willing to mention a correction it in the next SCR.
