Looking for source for Micro / Mini Timer Run Motor Control for Electric Torpedo

Hello, I am looking for a U.S Source of Micro / Mini size Circuit board that will run a brushed / brush less motor for a set amount of seconds. I vagely remember there was a U.S source of this BUT can`t find it. Any help, link would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.George

Hi, you can use a simple circuit like this one:

The receiver coil L2 is used for a wireless charge, you can replace it with a 2 pins connector for a wired charger on the 2 and 3 pins of the diode bridge rectifier D5.

The duration of the run depends on the amount of current drawn by the motor, the amount of charge in the C5 supercap and its capacity.

With a 1F supercap fully charged and a motor drawing 200mA, the motor runs for about 1 minute.

The C5 charge depends on the R1 value and how long you apply the charging power (either wireless over the L2 coil or wired over the 2 and 3 pins of the diode bridge rectifier D5)

      I did one awhile back.......

Enjoy my crayon drawing. It is simple and works. Your runtime will depend on the amount of friction or binding you get. Here is my wip on this:

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

As a supplement, the super cap I used was discontinued. I have not spent any time looking for a replacement. Well, since I have not looked in awhile maybe a replacement is available. Post what you find!
