Flying Sub Frustration

Do all of these mobius kits come warped to high heaven or did i just get lucky? It is absolute horrid to get to align the upper and lower section together. Im trying to install magnets but the warp is just to much for the magnets to hold in place... and now that ive already trimmed the posts that they normally would interlock and hold in place once you forced it, now just laugh at attempting to get the sections to align.... Is there anything that can be done to reshape them slightly without destroying them?

Have you tried hot water and gently bending them to shape?

I have not. I will have to try that and see if it helps.

Drill holes through the posts on both sides and then bolt nut and washer it to draw it closed and then the warm water bath let it soak and normalize let it cool in the tub, you have nothing to lose
