US Skate Class 1980s Paint Schedule Question

Did the Skate Class get hull red paint on their lower hulls late in their lives, or did they stay black overall? An ongoing project requires this answer to fit the era she's being built into.

Seadragon was black overall in 1965 in Pearl Harbor. Saw Sargo in dock at PHNSY in 66 or 67 and she was being hull cleaned and painted. I seem to remember she was all black also. Working on memory only.

Thanks, Jim! One of my guys on Trepang was a ship's diver on Seadragon, and IIRC, he said she was all black into the early 80s. I'm going to leave her so, mostly 'cos that red hull just doesn't look right on that class!
