I am really interested in doing one of the modern German boats. The 212 looks really cool. However I'm lazy and don't have enough space in my WTC for the V-tail mixer required. I've been looking with great interest at the 214 which has conventional rear fins. There is a drawing on the HDW site. This boat is barely off the drawing board however has anybody got anymore details on this boat?
One question, how did you managed to water-seal the threaded spindle and the piston on your pump trim tank. Unlike the Engel, I imagine that only the piston moves back & forth in your piston ballast system.
Cool image of the U-31! Submarines never cease to amaze me with their new surprises! My first posting in this new site. Still smell the new paint of this new SC message board. Getting used to new controls, but the ability to post pictures here will be wonderful!
