WANTED SUBMARINES FOR TV SHOW - RC Special to Air in July

One of our producers (Bob Tarlau) is doing a special program on all things RC. He would like to video tape various submarines in operation in the Los Angeles / San Diego area in June to air in July. Why don't you check with Dave Manley? When I dropped over to his place in San Diego last weekend, we got a number of guys to show up for a mini-regatta in his pool - including rc sub luminaries Mike Dory and Steve Vick who live nearby. Mikes torpedo firing u-boat would be real camera candy and Steve's 1/96 Guppy class would be cool too. Manley has his fleet including the Japanese Oshio which is much different looking than the typical u-boats and LA's.

If you can - try to get a plug in for the SubCommittee - maybe you could borrow the SC banner (the one with the SC web site address) from Jeff LaRue to display as a backdrop.
