      Not as impressive as when a 637 "flips" her ears up and makes a hole!! ICEX '85, USS Trepang set a world record for ice surfaces, 28. I did about half of them. I don't know if that record still stands. Did that, had the t-shirt. until it wore out.

        I was told at Pier 10, Lower Base, MANY years ago they were the "Emergency Brakes".
