Timing Belt Option
At Bowne's Park in Queens, we use Timing Belts due to the bulkhead. 591 is ~26lbs dry, over double/triple that wet, but I haul up slowly enough it's no issue.
At the North Lake in Groton, or other walk ins I use my home brewed launch system for the "big" guys. Bill Lambing (COB) calls it "cheating".
Launch/Retrieval cart Demo
Someone said I should put front wheels on, greater maneuverability without.
Whether you use luggage carts, Timing Belts, rolling carts, floating drydocks, tossing it, the real answer is there is no "best" way despite what anyone says, there's the way that works for you when you find it.
