Erich, why do you not upload these to the website?
This is mostly a issue with me and curiosity if we are not making the upload useful. Too often, a postimage or photobucket account gets closed down and we loose all the photos.
Help me understand!
Great photos by the way.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

I'm just a creature of habit. I've always used the postimages site. As far as I can tell, with the image upload on the forum, you can only select one image at a time. With positmages, I can do them all in bulk and save time. I may very well be missing something, though.

Hey Jeff, If I remember right, you can load a max of 6 photos at a time which can be pretty tedious. Another issue I've found is that the forum makes the images much smaller, causing a lose of a lot of the detail. To get around that I have been posting pictures on the forum, but making originals available on google photos for access to much higher quality photos.

During this event, how much time is actually available to put your boats in the water? Are there allotted times for surface ships vs subs, scale specific, time period, or any other parameters? How deep is the pool btw? Is there a Harbor Master or is it every captain for themselves with cats and dogs living together?

For this particular event, we ran from 8am to 4-ish-pm. It was a two-day event, much like the fun sub run in August at this location. That's the one you WANT to be at if you're a sub guy. Lots of people, lots of boats, people from all over the US and Canada. More info on the August run can be found in the Events and Regattas section of the boards. Normally, the sub guys hang around the south end of the pond, the Indy admirals (mostly surface boats) towards the north-east end. Pictures don't do it justice. The pond is beyond massive! and less than three feet deep with a concrete bottom. Ideal for boats of all kinds.
