Video cameras illegal? - Are video cameras illegal in the US

I went onto ebay interested in buying wireless cameras for my sub and other rc vehicles, and on every item there was a disclaimer saying that items that can be used to spy( or somthing like that) are not allowed unless u are a goverment official. Sadly i saw this after i ordered(in a rush there was 2 minutes and it was 2 cameras for 12 dollars). So im not sure if i am allowed to buy these and i dont wanna be fined so if anybody could help me out and tell me if theres a way to get these legally or if its legal now please tell me soon.

    I don't think there is

I don't think there is a problem, as Nanny Cams have been used for years. There might be a problem if you are eavesdropping with sound capability. Just don't run the sub with the camera in a ladies locker room.
    I have a camera on my L.A.

      thnxs. It has no sound

thnxs. It has no sound abilitys and I've seen it on other subs before my only worry was that they might search it since its coming form Hong Kong. I was hoping on using my akulas stealth to sneak up into the showers though

        I have never heard of

I have never heard of not being able to sell them before. Maybe the people just don't know the laws.
