Robbe U-47

Hi All. I recently aquired a u-47 hull. The torpedo doors lines aren't visible anymore. Can anyone give me a picture of the bow area with some dimensions that would help me to be able to rescribe the doors? Thanks for your help. Greg

Find a bow photo of this type boat take from the side.
Scale it to the size of your boat.
Print two pages.
One in mirror.
Place on side of boat and scribe what you need from the photo.

I did a quick search of the Robbe U-47.
Information says the model is 67" overall length.
Real boat length is 218'.
Using these numbers I scaled the image.
This is why the image is a bit pixelated.
The image was scaled up 248%.
I did not embed the images here because the are very large.

You should be able to print out the two bow profiles.
Each will fit on a single sheet of paper.
Hope I got it right.

Let me know if the scale is off.
I went by information that the boat was 67" long.
If that is not the case then the numbers I used to scale will be incorrect.

I will be happy to recalculate the image if need be.
