    A different ward room game.

    I call it (What if?)
In this first one I pose the question.
What if Robby came up against the Alien.

My money is on Robby. As long as the Krell metal holds up to the Internal body acid.
    And I think it would.
    The Alien would be toast.
    What are your thoughts? BD.

I am not so sure, push Robby over and it is hard for him to get back up. His tracks would be susceptible to the acid. Plus if the Aliens punched through the front panel or his "Head" he would be toast. I am betting on the Aliens winning in the long run.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Now you sound like Jeff P.
But as I told him it is Krell transparent metal.
I bet his jaw thingy would not dent it. BD

Alien spit is pretty potent! Plus he's pugnacious as all get out, too! Robby's power source would be taxed pretty heavily. Unless of course, he has his own version of The Holy Hand Grenade!! B^)

One fatal flaw on Robby, an on/off switch. Game over, Aliens win.

Robby will win for sure. The Alien isn't bright enough to find the on off switch. Robby would zap it with his simple blaster.

I think the bigger question, can Robby pick up Thor's Hammer Mjölnir?

BTW, the "B-9, Class M-3 General Utility Non-Theorizing Environmental Control Robot" can kick both Robby and the Aliens collective tuchus!

                  Good point Steve.
But I think the on/off switch is only on the model in Salmon's picture. BD

I think Robby would be a no factor, Remember the alien is always looking for 1 food and 2 procreation ie biological host
Since the alien according to to movies where smart to tell the difference Robby would be overlooked
