    Are these photos copyrighted? I

Are these photos copyrighted? I ask because it seems that here are a few people (whose hard-drives I need to figure out how to access) who have a wealth of photos on subs like the Akula, Typhoon, LA, Seawolf, Virginia, etc. If they were personal property, I'd think that the Subcommittee could devote a special issue or stand-alone booklet of these photos and sell a bunch of them. Heck, I'd spend some $$$ for a booklet of color photos of the Akula, for example. Heck, I'd pay for internet access of those shots on a Subcommittee reference pay-site.

Just a thought, but there are bloody few pictoral references (especially detail stuff) of any of the modern nukes out there. I can't tell you how many Russian books I've bought from Aviapress or Armybook just hoping for a few new shots of modern Russian subs.

Like I said, just a thought.

            MATT -

            I SAY AGAIN -

            MATT -
How about - sending a set to Bob Martin (webmaster@subcommittee.com) so he can put them in the "photos" portion of this site? He can put your name with them so you get credit.

Then they will be available for everybody to look at for years to come.

            Best regards,
            Tim S
