    World War I German U-boat

    A salvaged WWI German U-boat. Interesting interior details!

    During WWII, Germany built 1,162 destructive "U-boats," which is short for the German word "Unterseeboot," or undersea boat.

      This must be the photo that coined the phrase Plumbers Nightmare.
      I have never seen so many valves in one place.

            Nice dry-dock photo's. UB110.. looks like would make a fantastic model. I wonder if there is a plan for it somewhere.
