Request for opinions on Revell Gato Periscopes.

Hi all
Just trying to get the general opinion of various modelers on an after market metal periscope set for the 1:72 Revell Gato
Question 1
If a metal periscope set was available would you want it designed to use the factory Revell mount (i.e little plastic pins at the top of the scope housing)
OR Would you prefer the scopes to be designed requiring a drilling out of the scope housing so the the scopes could be raised and lowered?

Question 2
Do you feel that the Revell periscope design is accurate enough?

Question 3
Would you also like the antenna to be included in the set?

My take....

Q1: drill out the housing and provide the longer length.
Q2: make them as accurate as practical.
Q3: what/which antenna are you referring to?

i think i will leave out the antenna and just do the periscopes.

Oh, yeah, baby! I'd LOVE a set of those 'scopes. Will you make them available? Anyone who's inadvertently broken off plastic 'scopes when mindlessly reaching across the sail for something on its other side should be thinking about metal 'scopes for ANY boat. (Me—more than once in my colorful r/c career.) Please advise...

When my current project is done my next one will be to convert the Gato kit into a Balao. I've got IBS's tower, but I'm not fond of the scopes. What are you asking for them? I'd love to add them to the pile of extras.
