ThorDesign & Atomic Subs to join forces. - Atomic Subs to become authorized dealer.

Atomic Subs is proud to announce that as of March 1, 2004 we will become the authorized dealer of the ThorDesign product line. This arrangement is based upon the continuing involvement of Matt Thor's parent company, Industrial Technologies, in the development of weapons systems for use by the US Navy and US Air Force. ThorDesign is still committed to new project development as well as improving the existing line of products. As mentioned, as of March 1, 2004 all initial customer contacts, order processing, and shipping for the line of ThorDesign kits, electronics, and parts will be handled by Atomic Subs. We Thank You for your past, present, and future support and look forward to helping shape and further the lifestyle that is R/C model submarine building. We welcome any questions or comments you may have.

    Again, Thanks for your support.

    I have an original Garry

I have an original Garry Gray Skate model in 1/96 which the Atomic subs/Thor Design Skate SSN is based on as I understand. Anyone that purchases this hull kit will not be disappointed in any way what so ever! My model will
be completed as a future static display model of the USS Sargo SSN-583 (Mare Island NSY's first Nuclear powered vessel) for the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum. This kit hull is very accurate based on my research documentation.

Wish you well gentlemen! Live long and prosper!

      Lyle,

      are you going to update

      Lyle,

are you going to update and change your site for ordering, or are the orders going to go through matt's site and you will just fill them?

      Thanks,

      John

        In keeping with John's question

In keeping with John's question about Matt's site, will the online instructions for building the Permit be completed and available?

          Guys,

          I can answer both questions.

          Guys,

I can answer both questions. Yes, all of the ordering will be done through Atomic Subs. Marketing, Advertising, Order receipt, Order processing, Initial customer contact, & shipping will be handled by Atomic Subs. This will allow me a bit more time to continue to work to complete items like the Permit Instructions (Paul Crozier is finishing up his excellent piece of work now), Finish the new kits we have coming up and a myriad of other items that I need to get finished. The ThorDesign site will continually updated as we progress with the expert help of Paul Crozier. We have so many irons in the fire as far as Submarine projects, along with my fulltime work for the U.S. Military. I just cannot do it all anymore and maintain good customer service and product delivery. We will be receiving the expert help of Skip Asay, Dave Merriman, and a few others to assure that the quality of the ThorDesign products remain top notch and to assure the product line continues to grow.
