This is the SS-490 Volador. A Tench boat converted to a Guppy 3. It was involved in war games during its lifetime.
It recieved a direct hit by a Asroc Mk. 44 missle/torpedo with a dummy warhead. As you can see they can be quite accurate. Later in the same exercises it was hit again, only leaving a dent. Information courtesy of Navsource. The Asroc was delivered , courtesy of DLG-10 KIng.
