Gents,
Many thanks to the admirals for again going to bat to host the sub regatta. Once again an excellent job! Hats off to all of the men and women who worked so hard to make this years event a huge success.
I had been up since 4:30am Thursday when I arrived Friday at 3pm. Both Warren Wilson and I were beat. But being with you guys at the meet and greet was simply great and provided a lift for my weary bones and spirit.
During the events I was able to renew many friendships and make a few new ones as well. I was also able to pick up a few tips for my boats to make them better and one day I hope to beat Skip at the regatta course, haha, like that will happen. Skip is one good sub driver and it's scary. Good job Skip and too all of those who won awards!
And a big thank you to the vendors and individuals who provided so many of the raffle prizes. without your support it would not be the successful event it has become.
Again my hats off to all of those who worked so hard to organize and put on the show.
