I was in Ottawa yesterday to see my Hematolgist.
Being on a pension I do not get out of town much.
I took the time to stop at the Discount Hobbies in Orleans.
They had a Gato *(several)*, Seaview, Flying Subs, and all the electronics I need except a ADF. I am the only submariner he has met in the store...man are we few and far between. I told him about the Ottawa chapter, yet he has not met those boys yet. I guess its clear that without internal give and take of information, one stands alone in this hobby. Indeed the assitance that the RC airplane crowd shows one another is ALWAYS above ground....LOL. The group of men in there that day were nothing but giving of their talents and intelligence, no EGOS! What a refreshing change. The owner of the store took the time to show me how to machine a stuffing box for my Robbe SeaWolf...what a nice guy. He has my business for sure.
