I was sipping some Merlot at home after work (checking the new posts)....seeing this...I promptly got up and poured the Merlot back in the bottle. Cousin It?

This proves it! That duck s*** in the pond is does indeed more than take off the paint on my models!

            About Buster,
A valuble asset to Sub Ron 5, Buster has a natural abilities in the water.
Back in 1992 , I met Buster in the swamps of louisiana, where I had become lost deer hunting. It was late at night.I had a small campfire going near a large hollow cypress tree. From out of nowhere,Buster came in close to the fire. We talked all night. He told me of making his money early on by diving for the old glass bottles with the return deposits on them in the back waters and swamps of louisiana. Doing well, but young, he lost it all to fast women. After a brush with the law, he decided to employ his talents with the military. Still classified, he could not go into detail. He did say he had to leave the military after causing some problems with the trained dolphins.
A loaner most of his life, Buster stays to himself.
The next moring, Buster guided me out of the swamp. But from then forward, he would show up from time to time, to tell tales and bring large mouth bass and crawfish as a gift.
A few years later, I moved to texas. Sometime after that, Buster came to austin. He was very excited about the clear waters here, and the ease at which he could fish.
More and more frequently, we would talk about the submarines. He would listen much, and offered stimulating conversation and speculation over designs of the different navies.
On hearing Sub Ron 5 was forming,he became very excited and offered his services for retival diver. Enthusiastic, he vowed we would never leave a boat behind.
Reportedly, he tells me they are quite easy to follow underwater.Sounding much like torpedos on the movies when they travel underwater. When there is a submarine down, it is still no problem to find them."They are much bigger than crawfish" he smiled.
Enjoying the 2003 meet,Buster has found his place.Promising to be at future Sub Ron 5 events. Unfortunately,he cannot travel to bigger meets, becuase of problems at the gates at airline terminals.
I never know when I will see Buster. He comes without warning, usually at night. There have been sightings in the San Gabriel area.Over turned trash cans and the like. But no news from him in a while. At the august Sub Ron , near the end, Buster had promised to come to the future events. But then he disappeared.Scurring after the ducks nearby.
I hope to see him at the next meet. His energy and enthusiasm is always welcome.
            Wayne
