Anyone have any idea what the measurement is of the little holes all over the deck of Gato subs? I forgot to check when I visited Silversides .

You might want to try and get a copy of the Floating Drydocks's Fleetboat Plan Book. Very well detailed. Another great resource is the National Archives. Send them a message requesting drawings or other reference material. You will need to specify the hull number and time period. Just dug out an old microfilm request, and it specifies Record Group 19 as the keeper of these docs.
