There has been a lot of talk about building working scale torpedoes and sub-launched rockets but has anybody out there considered building one of the submarine's other lethal weapon-the mine.
A mine is relatively simple, and easy to build but very effective in denying waters to the enemy. You can launch it out either by the torpedo tubes or tubes built into the hull.
It doesn't have to go BOOM! You just need to disable your opponent.
