Of COURSE you can be, Pete! Welcome Aboard! Others who'd like to can be non-geographical "honorary" members as well. Thanks for the interest! The logo's Big Reveal will be in the SCR in just a few weeks. Stand by...
While you're all waiting so patiently (!) for our official announcement and logo reveal in the SCR in another week or so, I thought you might like to see some photos of tourist favorites around town—that is, around the new SubRonLA's Southern California area of operations.
First, here's a shot of the L.A. City Hall downtown...
This was when it was destroyed by Martians a few years ago—very specific illegal aliens angry over having to stand too long in line at the DMV when acquiring their California state drivers' licenses. The building has since been rebuilt...so well that you'd never really know its history without looking closely at the cracks in the foundation, cracks now all puttied over with Evercoat Metal Glaze.
And here is the world famous Capitol Records building in Hollywood. It was heavily damaged some time back by a different breed of aliens. No, wait, the Cylons are actually robots, aren't they? No, wrong again—I remember now]lot[/i] of foundations! Sorry, I always get that news story mixed up.
Lastly for the time being, and perhaps most popular among tourist shutterbugs][/url]
With thanks from SubRonLA for your continued patience,
JeffP
