    Start of something new

This is exciting. Living here has been challenging finding others interested in submarines (both static and R/C). I am very thankful for S.C. allowing me to start a Subron here in Nevada. It will be helpful in getting the word out.
I am very interested in getting young and old introduced to R/C submarines. Any suggestions are welcome, plus any help on working with Boy Scouts would be helpful too!
Thank you again S.C. for all that you do.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Very nice. We had the same problem many years ago. SunRon 8 was a small group 6-7 guys and we started up our own subron.

      Tom,

Our SubComEast folks have some great experience with working with the Scouts as well as the local YMCA, including the building and operating of the "Cub Subs" at the local annual Jamborees.

We'll be glad to help where possible.

No longer a rogue submarine terrorizing the vast Losta Wages Seas.
            Good Luck!

That is the dream, my friend. Lakes, pools, and even bath tubs filled with people running their subs. 1,000 members from Las Vegas added to S.C.membership .....Hey it is my dream, it could happen.
