First Outdoor Run

We went to our favorite pond on Saturday for the first outdoor fun run of the year. Unfortunately the pond had a lot of weeds that really limited the running area.

Big Dave brought his new tug boat and we all got to try running it. The Boone tried to remove some of the weeds but there were just too many of them. Thanks Larry and Greg for the Boone rescue. Luckily Greg brings a van that has all sorts of unique tools that can be used for boat rescues! It was also a little cooler than normal for this time of year but we still had a lot of fun and everyone was able to bring their boat home. It was a good day!

Nice photos Don (and Patti) . It's amazing you were able to get a picture of the only time my boat sort of ran. It's probably just as well that my boat acted uo or I would have tried to challenge the weed monster ans he would have his revenge on giving the Boone back to us. The weeds sucked but the Good friends, sunshine and fresh air won the day.Greg
