I have a few 75mHz transmitter modules I'm not using and 8 channel Futaba recovers are readily available as are crystal sets.

well the 14mz is coming with 7 recievers... ill have to email radio south again and see if they can convert this 72 to 75 when i get it... i have to first send it off to futaba services to get the touch screen repaired. but as for the fcc scenario im not to worried cause 72 and 75 bands are alloted for rc use...its not like im crossing into a police band, or communications band, or military band etc.... i highly doubt theyll come unglued and turn into nazis cause im on 72...now had i bought that graupner radio i was first looking at on 30 or 40 mhz whatever it was he had it on then ya i could understand the fcc having a hissy fit... lol....

All im saying is, as submariners, its going to get harder and harder to find good radios to even convert cause nothing anymore has modules... the 2.4 is all built in...there are no swappable modules unless they are older like the mz i just bought that could do both... so your stuck with buying used discontinued moduled type radios...how long will that last...hell this mz is already what, 15 years old???? already discontinued for years now.... its only going to get worse so start buying used radios now folks...

There are the Chinese sets like frsky taranis and Turnigy 9XR. Both modular and the Taranis goes all the way upto 16 channels for modellers where 8 or 9 channels isn't enough.
