The Buffalo Boat club invited the 8 Balls to run at the Tonawanda Aquatic Center today. The pool is huge and is divided in half with a floating bridge to allow kids to swim in the shallow end while all the boats ran in the deep end. There were even fans at the end of the deep end so that they could run sailboats in the pool. Everyone had a great time looking at all the boats and talking to all the Buffalo members and sharing stories about the hobby.
We want to thank the Buffalo folks and Don Spielberger for inviting us out to enjoy their great pool and company. Many folks had never seen or heard of Model Subs before and they were very intrigued. We even saw some of the kids stop swimming to watch the subs run. Of course the 8 Balls all met at Duffs after the fun run to enjoy Buffalo's best chicken wings.
