I think Crazy Ivan has pictures of it sitting 9' down on the bottom.
It was not intentional.
Some dummy had his MPD failsafe set wrong so when the boat went below the RFB (Radio Frequency Barrier)
it kept on going right to the bottom.
She sat there for a few minutes until the SRS (Submarine Retrieval Specialist) could attempt a rescue.
I guess it was a good thing as I found out the pressure hull was bone dry inside.
For the first time in the water the a Skipjack ran great.BD.

It looks great! 9' pressure test is what that was and a practice of sub retrieval, good man for keeping everyone on their toes.
