To Bill, Tony and the rest of a wonderful crew,
I can't tell you how much it tears me up to say this, but I can not make it this year. This summer has been one of discontent, and I have a surgery coming up that prevents me from spending time on THE event that I look forward to all year. It will be a VERY long winter. I hope you have have fantastic weather, a great turn out and a spectacular time. NEXT YEAR COME HELL, OR HIGH WATER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears that you all had a very fine time. great folks ( for road killers) great boats ( what is that that thing, Jeff? ) and undoubtably great food.

That 'thing' (aka the white monster) is a 1/32nd scale Type XXVIW hull. It's hull #1 produced by Loyalhanna Dockyard from the master/molds originally created by Steve Walker.

Cool, huh?
