Looking for some one close to Tampa, Fl

Hi guys

I am looking for any one that is in the Tampa area or north. I am getting ready to start to build my sub and would like to see if some one near by could help me if I need it. I have a Sea Wolfe class SSN that I will build the USS Jimmy Carter with the additional 100 feet added to the model. I am building in 1/96 scale. Any help would be great. I met a few of you guys a few years ago at Devils Den, I was the one that brought the surface Navy.

I'm not Tampa or north, but I'm down in Naples. Its not too far, all things considered. I'm around any time you want to talk subs!

i am in north Tampa.. near Wesley chapel.
I had 2 subs. a Bluefin and an Albacore.
sold them and regretted it.

so I actually have a few kits now
dumas Bluefin and an Acula on the way.
a revel 1/72 uboat
a Mobius seaview
and kept a couple surface runners.
a sterling Missouri
and a Midwest fireboat.


I am more of a flyer.. planes, helis, FPV... but I want to get a uboat running again.

I just notice your reply to my post. I am in Hudson, Fl. not to far from Wesley Chapel. I have mostly surface ships, but want to get my RC sub up and running soon. Any help that I can get would be great in starting on a sub project. The actual sub that I want to do is the USS Jimmy Carter she is a 100 foot mod of a Seawolf class so I have two hulls of a seawolf class that are in 1/96 scale to go with my Naval ships in 1/96 scale.

Maybe we can get together at my place or meet somewhere if you want. I am off from work this coming weekend after Trick or treat night. If you want contact me by my email address.

At the present we are in Lake Mary, FL and will be moving to Leesburg, FL by April 1 at the present all of my boats are in storage, but will be out soon. Would love to get together with you and Bob to talk subs anytime
