subs on Van Isle?

I realize the weathers kinda crap

but anyone on Van isle still gather to do the sub thing?

theres supposed to be a boat group that meets on Sundays at Long lake here in Nanaimo

anyone still active on the big rock?

figured I'd give this a kick back up ... revive it a bit? ... anyone on Vancouver Island purposely make their boat sink???

I'm just finishing my "chaser" a 1/72 corvette convert...

and I've got a 1/72 type VIIc which should be patrolling the depths of Long lake in NAnaimo by march... just waiting for a peice of my radio gear so I can build the pushrods from the SD to the surfaces, then foam trimming and paint

there are a couple of subs that come out now and then with the nanaimo group.. and I'm pretty sure there are some in Victoria's group

any here???

I just started building my sub

I have an Engel 212 kit, and an OTW Upholder/Victoria (but that one is shelved atm)

I haven't built anything like this before

I'm a n00b but i am trying to learn as much as i can
