Okay guys, I know this is normally our COB's thunder, but I am going to steal it. Sorry Bill...... 
Okay, I have arranged for our next meeting to be a tour of my 1:1 Virginia Class submarine, USS New Mexico (SSN-779) given by..... ME! What I need to know is all who wants to come and I need to know what day we want it to be, the 13th or the 20th, Either is good for me, but my vote is on the 13th. It is up to you guys. Now I have a vehicle that can hold up to seven, with base stickers on it, and Bill and Bob each have stickers to get on the base. We need to coordinate this so everyone who wants to can get on the base to take the tour. I could arrange for lunch on the boat, but the boat cooks are kinda new and they make 2 good meals, one is mexican and the other isn't. (Those who have been in the past know what I mean
) I anticipate that we will adjourn to one of the nicer road kill establishments in the Groton area (I hear Paul's Pasta has an excellent roadburger lasagna. I have also heard that 5 guys has opened up next to wally world, there are several other possibilities). We then can possibly do a drive by bombing run at Lee's Toy and Hobby, and maybe head over to Walter's for some scale action. I leave this up to the people that make it for the meeting. Kevin, your not allowed to come, you might screw up your other ankle stepping off the brow, and your not covered by the Navy anymore. 
On a seperate note, I may be able to get a weekday afternoon tour at the VSCOT (Virginia Ship Control Trainer, or Dive and Drive as us old farts know it). It would have to be a weekday, but I can support up to 5 people for this and we can drive for 4 hours or so, I have talked to the CAB operator and he said it is possible to set it up, and I would be the qualified Pilot to over instruct you guys. Even the former DOOW's in the group are Nubly NUBS when it comes to this. I need feedback on this, If I cannot set it up for this inport, I will probably be able to for when I am back from the next run.
