That's right, time to make plans to attend the ninth annual Sun N Fun event. It will be held at Hermann Park in Houston, Texas on the weekend of September 17-18. More info will be posted soon.

RUNNING SITE UPDATE: Due to the severe drought in Houston, certain fountains at the Jones Reflection pool in Hermann Park have been turned off leading to decreased water clarity. Assessments will be made on Friday 9-16-11 to determine its suitability for sub running.

RUNNING SITE UPDATE 2.0: Went by Hermann Park with Jeff after picking him up at the airport and voila -- the water is perfectly fine. Apparently, two weeks with the cascade running on the north end worked wonders. Everything is set for a great weekend of r/c sub fun.

Whoall attended the event? Yea I meant to say whoall.
Two boats! Thats all I get to see is two boats?

I guess I will have to put some effort into showing up
next time if all I get are pictures of two boats.

Yes, we did have a great time. And yes, you do need to put more effort into coming next year. We miss your harmonica playing! The skippers with boats in attendance this year were Jeff Porteous, Tom Kisler, Paul Crozier, Don Baker, Fitz Walker and John Knasas. SC member Frank drove in from Tennessee to check us out too. He has a RPM Tech Kilo on order. We look forward to sailing with him next year.
