Tonawonda Winter Fest Run January 16, 2011

The Rochester Gang was invited to attend this fun event at the Tonawanda Pool. Although we only brought a few boats, the subs were a definite hit with the Buffalo boat club. Many questions were asked and we all had a great time looking at all of their boats as well. The pool was huge and we got to run for about 2 hours along with sailboats and some really nice scale boats (aka targets). It was decided to not run subs and targets together as we didn't want any mishaps and many of us had the same frequencies anyway. Thanks to Don3 and the Buffalo boat club for the invitation and for inviting us back next year. I know all the 8 balls had a great time and look forward to coming back to this event next year.

That was a fun event even though I didn't bring a boat. There were some very nice models on both display and on the water.Next year I'll have my sub running . Greg

I want to thank the Buffalo Model Boat Club for inviting us to the event.
The pool was HUGE!!!!! And 13' deep!!!
GREAT FUN!!!!
I also want to thank 8-ball member Don Speilberger who is also a member of the Buffalo club for being the liaison for the two clubs.

Also for treating us to the best wings in town!!! YUMMY!!!!!!
I am working on some video of the event as well. Thanks to all who attended. BD.
