There are a number of
There are a number of members in the greater D.C. area. We end to run our boats at the monthly SubComEast funruns. In the warm months we use a large outdoor lake in southern NJ. In the winter we use the indoor olympic-sized pool at Widener University.
Up until a couple of years ago we also ran our boats at least once a year in the reflecting pond in D.C. itself.

I too live in the

I too live in the NOVA / DC area (Manassas), and am also new to the Subcommittee, and this great hobby. I have been working in a Dumas Akula, and all the while pondering where I will have my maiden voyage. I had sort of planned on pestering my swimming club manager!
Let me know if you or anyone else finds a suitable place.
