October Meeting

All,

Looks like, weather permitting, we'll meet at the Johnston War Memorial Park (Johnston, RI) gazebo and run skimmers until we're too tired, too cold, or too hungry! This will be from 1000 until 1300 on Oct. 16th. This may be a great opportunity for Don and Tony to show off their roadkill squirrel recipes they've been wanting to share. I know where there's a nice looking asphalt turkey I can snag with my cane as I drive by, too!

I guess that would be ok, Tim, if'n you're looking to trim her out for Arctic ops! I was thinking that standing at the edge of the beach might feel good on the leg. I wouldn't have to ice it after I get home!! Don't use any grease on your linkages, etc.! We've had boats "lock up" from cold water during October runs. The grease stiffens up too much and the servos drag a whole bunch. Almost lost one in Rock Lake from such cause.

Yeah! It was fun watching Tim empty the water from the pilot house!! Did you know the Bristol Bay can hold an entire butt-ton of water? Tim does, now!!!!

Very Effective, and the pilot house will not hold water anymore....thats fixed, but T was right, i am gluing pieces back ontto the pilot house left and right
