And if it wasn't for the IC Man, all that stuff you just said wouldn't work! Except maybe the poop, thats all mechanical thank god! Are we there yet????????
Not true, Tim!!! I have run the diesel without electrical power to the safety circuits many times! Our little friend from south of the border, Manual Override, can accomplish many things!! And thus, I could still get your butt back home. Slowly, of course, and hopefully not from the extreme end of the fuel supplies' range (9,000 NM X 3 knots = FOREVER!!!)!
Even though the poop thing is mechanical , it's very surprizing how often it confuses both 2 wire and 3 wire 'tricians, weaponettes, and Kevin!!!!
Pete or anyone else.
I couldn't find an actual address for the base but if you put the address for the Nautilus museum in your GPS then your there. The main gate and the entrance to the museum are right next to each other.
Nautilus Museum
One Crystal Lake Road
Groton, Connecticut 06340
Here are driving directions from the base web site for the GPS impaired.
By Car - Travel either north or south on Interstate 95 to Exit 86. Turn north at the end of the ramp onto Route 12 and travel approximately two miles to the fifth stop light. Turn left at Crystal Lake Road, and follow it approximately 1/2 mile to the end of the road. The main gate is on your right. Traffic signs, beginning on I-95, provide clear directions to the submarine base.
Pete just travel to my address..the rest is so easy a coner could do it. The weather is supposed to be perfect...Then again we were supposed to get a hurricane too....
Since today is half over and Saturday is the day, the count would be; V, Cinco, funf, IIIII, ....., etc.!!!!!!
I think the big T is in his pit-o'-doom, feverishly working on something so he'll have something to run!!!!! OR, he's out scouring the roadways for some nice, well festered up roadkill!!!
