Subron 4 goes to Ted's Restaurant

I saw this on the travel channel and knew I had to get the guys to go there. This place has amazing steamed hamburgers, home fries and hot dogs. Ofcourse we all had one of each and were stuffed to the brim on the way home. This is for you guys that decided not to go with us....MISTAKE!

Well let me tell you the 200 miles I had to travel was well worth it. I never had steamed hamburgers before and it was outstanding. Kevin I must admit it you were right it was a must to try.
The food was great the company fantastic.
The gassy ride back was a bit to deal with but open windows seem to solve this problems.
I think the rest of the guys missed a good feed, Walter you would have loved the food.
Dave you 8 balls would have enjoyed the day the burgers realy were great.

Yep Jeff but it was worth it. Craston RI to Meridan Ct. was 107 miles one way. with an additional 5 mile detour to get off at Kevin's and pick up the guy's. 4 hours drive to eat steamed burgers, I would do it again next week if the guy's want to. It was fun and the company great. It was fun to get away from working on the boats and be with some people that you realy like. You know like Paton, right?

Must have been damn good burgers to go that far! Maybe that place will need to be a place to stop for lunch the next time we come visit.....

Yup it is a must try kind of place. Kevin saw it on the Travel Channel. The burgers were very good and the steamed hot dogs were just as good.

Ya, but since his operation he can't do much, that's why we took him for a little ride and got some lunch. He was going nuts in the house all that time. I went through it last year I know what it is like. Just friends helping friends you know like Patton did.

Yes Jeff, yes he did, and so did I. I wish you were there with us, as the more friends you have with you the better time you have, no matter where you are or what you are doing. Patton agrees with that also.
