Guys,

I would like to establish a contact list of all those who fall in to the Deep South operational area. This should help with get-togethers and runs and to keep us informed. I will maintain the list and shoot out any info or field any questions.

Also of importance is our big fall get-together. Last year we held it (first ever) at Lake City and it was an excellent run. No issues recovering subs due to the pool and the pool were big enough for Warren Wilson's giant 32nd parallel U-boat. But I understand there is a chance the park in GA may have what we need. I have looked over the postings and checked the park web site it looks good tome. A visit is in order.

Please shoot me the following either at my subcommittee email or my home email (preferred):

email (I would prefer one you check frequently)
Phone
Type of sub model/models you run
Any other info you think is necessary

did this ever come together? I tried starting one a few years back and think I had a paper list but I'm sure that's way out of date by now.
Let's push this out there again and get names and numbers for our SubCom.

The problem with the Deep

The problem with the Deep South gang is that few look at the area forum and even fewer post here. I think the only effective way would be to send out group emails or call people. Before I left I created an email account on gmail and entered every name, number and email from the SC members list.

I just sent you an email with the account. If your email is unchanged you should get it. Stuart I believe you still need to be added to the data base.

But you realize there are a great many forums for one to review and lots of postings all over the place it is difficult to even begin to keep up with them. I simply stick with the SCDS arena to keep it simple.

But you better get one soon there selling out fast and the price is going up as there popularity rises.

I havea contact in Thailand that sell them for half what they go for here.
