Stefan, to answer your question we haven't set anyting in stone as yet. However, with the recent discovery of some excellent water here in my backyard we are leaning heavily towards having Sun N Fun 2009 in Houston.
With that being said, there is an excellent event every June in Denver hosted by our SubRon5 contingent. They have a great location and a good group that attends. Tom Kisler tries to make that trip too. This would be a great opportunity to run that is more centrally located.
just looked at mapquest.. its about 650mls either way.. to denver, houston or indianapolis...
might have to make a decission there this year.. pretty sure im not allowed to go to all three events
im actually considering houston and possible colorado..
haven't been in either one of those areas yet.. but all depends on which boats i get ready and if i get a trailer till then
I'd love to run with you in Denver. Its a seriously cool venue and the "Crew" is a pretty great bunch of guys as well. It would be a shame if you couldn't amaze them as you did us with your fleet at SunNFun08.
I am doing both these events this year (thanks for the early heads-up Tim!) I'll have the usual lineup plus one massive bench-warming Ohio courtesy SubmarineWorks (Thanks Pete!)
