hunting down HMS Resolution.

Hello,

i was reading my latest installment of the SCR. there was a report in the FOX schedule for the Norwich sub day on Aug 4. in the report was mentioned all the boats that attended and one that was mentioned was the HMS Resolution.

Now being an aussie with a soft spot for the brit polaris boats i was a little dissapointed with not seeing pics of this boat. Can anyone tell me who the owner is and if I can conatct him/ her for pics and chat?

Ramesh (wheelerdealer) wrote that article, and was there on the day. You might want to have a word with him.

Unfortunately it's not always possible to get every image you'd like included in the Fox schedule, or mention everyone's name, many of whom are not Sub Committee members.

The Resolution mentioned is an old kit produced by Ron Perrot (R&R engineering). Long since out of production, it has been retooled, and should soon be in production as a hull only, supplied by Subtech. The original kit featured twin piston tanks for ballast control.

So here for you in glorious technicolour is the afore mentioned Resolution class.

As Andy mentioned you can get the hull kit,appendages and prop from Subtech who are also working on a WTC for the Resolution. Jecobin sell plans for the Resolution.
