Directions to Alt. (winter) Lake, Kingsland

The lake is identified as Methodist Lake as it's next to the church but is a county lake also very close to Wal-Mart.
from the South, I-95, exit 3, : Loop around the ramp in the left lane, turn left, in 2.1 miles, at the Wallgreen store on the left, left lane, turn left. King's Bay Road, then at 2.4 miles turn left onto a dirt road, go to the end at the lake.
From the North, exit 3, turn left and follow above instructions.
Notes: after making the left onto King's Bay road the next left is soon about a long block. If you pass through a light you went too far, loop back.
Gas stations to the right or West are usually a penny or so less expensive than the ones to the East of I-95.

          Winter Holiday

          Gentlemen:

I propose that we not schedule sub fun sails for Dec., Jan., and February. This is only one person's input.

I enjoy the get togethers but with the uncertainty of the weather during those months it might be good to be on for 9 months and off for 3 months.

I'm quite pleased to have a local group with which to share a common interest monthly but a weather holiday may be good.

          I'm planning on Nov. 22.

To those I may not see until next year; have a great holiday season

          Regards,

          Warren

            Gents,

            I can concur with warren.

            Gents,

I can concur with warren. It will be cold and possibly nasty. Some time off to build our boats may be good.

If we do wish to meet we always post something here and with enough notice a meeting can be done
