    June fun run 6/14

Okay guys, let's make it official. The June fun run will be at the pond in Forest Hill, MD on Saturday, June 14. Let's plan for 10:00 until we're hungry and go for lunch.

The park and pond are on the south side of E. Jarretsville Rd, about 1/4 mile east of Rock Spring Rd in Forest Hill.

    Hope to see you there!

    Can you give some more

Can you give some more information as to the location? Is there some local address you can give, that should I get to that address, I will be within sight of the pond? I have used Google Maps, and I see a little blue area, but I'm not sure if that's the pond you're referring to.

Is the pond physically located b/w Bradview Lane/Nora Court and Martindale Lane?

Or is it the pond physically located b/w E Jarretsville Road and N Forrest Drive? Is the pond next to a baseball/softball field and soccer field and does the pond have an island (with a walkway) in the middle of it?

              Mapquest

It doesn't even show up on Mapquest, but I did find it on Google. The sattelite view helps greatly!

                  Jim,

I'm thinking about buying the SWM Blueback. Is it possible you could bring it on June 14th? If not, that's ok.

                  Thanks

I'll make sure Blueback makes the trip. Best thing to do comcerning weather is to check the message board before leaving. I'll make the call before 6:00 am and post it, along with emailing.

                            Hi BD,

We had a very good time. The lake is a nice sized piece of water with an island in the middle that is reachable by a small foot bridge. There are even a number of self-propelled targets in residence. (geese )

Parking is very close by and there are benches and picnic tables there. Even better.....we were in the shade the entire time!

Jim had his camera out, so he may have some photos to share.......

All in all a very nice outdoors boat-floating pond!
