Gentlemen:

I just voted for Devil's Den fopr the 18th. However I'll go to almost any location.
I voted for DD primarily because I'm almost finished with major repairs to the ballast control system and it will be a good place for sea trials. Recovery at DD is considered a snap.
Actually I prefer Gilligan's Island for narrow self interest reasons.

Bad new the Akula just went down. Go figure. I rip it apart to install a pitch controller finally and it works awsome. Down side is that now the gas tank solenoid is shot.what a world!!! My most reliable boat is down so I am scurrying to get another boat operational. I may end up brining the Dumas akula and Carol Moran aswell as the Kilo.

It also appears we are going to devils den. SO, just to make it easier for everyone we are officaily going to Devils Den. Plan Accordingly fellas.

Charlie where are you at? Ofcours we could do a "test run" at the new pond on Sat prior to DD.

Well I just wanted to thank everyone for showing up and sailing with us today. The weather held out and the pond wasnt to incredibly bad.

Charlie your man in charge of the write up on this one for the SC Report by the way since I saw you making a list anyway. Have it on my desk in a week LOL

Just a heads up to everyone. I will be having one more fun run with you guys at GIRP in JUNE. This will be my final farewell so I may just bring out the smoker and we can do some hot dogs and brauts. Donations welcome ofcourse. Polaris I will try to pick a date soon so you can plan acordingly.

Fantastic Pictures Mr. Green!!

We had a great time on Sunday and all went well except for my U-32 at the end of the day a leak developed in one of the pumps lines that I found out later at home.
If anyone is interested in how I modified this sub from a dynamic diver to a static one than let me know,it cost a 6th or so of what Robbe would sell you and the same is for the drive. The prop is from Andreas in Germany and is made from stainless steel.
Ya its 5.5 inches in diamiter!and the drive is a cordless drill motor and planetary drive unit that is watercoolled via an internal shaft driven pump.
Hopefully my freind Mark will post the inners so that I can explian the hydrualic ballancing system.
