Dortmund Model Show 2008

Just got back from The Dortmund show which is popular now with UK hobbyists.

A very good, large show with 8 halls from everything from Boats to Planes to Railways.

Not too good for the sub enthusiast though. No Trade Stands for submarine products and a limited number of subs in the pool. You will see a lot more at the typical UK show e.g Merstham

Hope the attached photos give a flavour. The Robbe U31 was new to me. Contents of box looked flimsy but only Euro 350 however an Engel tank needed as an extra.

I'm very surprised there wasn't

I'm very surprised there wasn't a large display of model submarines at a large show like this.

I wonder why Sonar ev weren't present?

The Revell Type 212 conversion looks very neat, though.
