next subrun meeting

I have been asked when the next meeting/subrun will be. I suspect the place to run is Devils Den. This will allow the Georgia parks dept to finish the Gilligan's Island work and reopen the park and also keep in with our practice of alternating the parks for the runs.

So, Dave S. Can/Would you give a report to the group on the Den and it's condition. Please also let us know if there will be another party because we can bring stuff to throw on the grill, haha! BTW say hello to your lovely wife and pass along my compliments to her on her always excellent cooking and graciousness.

ALSO, please everyone post or select a date. My preference is later in the month of Jan (last weekend but not the ML King holiday due to travel) or possibly February. Just not the 8th of Feb the program director has her B-day celebration on that weekend. Perhaps mid Feb?

I will have the Uncle Sam up and running with her sub bumpers along the lower hull to provide assistance and I also have the Marlin up and running as a surface runner. Still working on the ballast system.

The 20th of Jan sounds good with me, I met you guys there one time I had the Navy Frigate. I would like to hook up with you guys to get some Ideas and help with my build of my first sub of an Seawolf class. Maybe some help in actual building while I am there that day.

The 20th of Jan sounds great ,my wife can make it and Ill bring some grub and Rum.

As for the water I am sure that its at its clearest now and has been for some time now. All is left is to notify Paul at the Den that we are coming.

Please guys lets try to help trim the place a bit not a major job but just a trimming ,Ill bring 2 cordless saws .If some more tools can make it the better.I have been too bussy to get out there latly and a trimming would help.
Lets do the meet and deploy our forces!
